Pick up, MOVING Drill cake Full Weekend Class - 28th- 30th MAY 2021 £55
Come and Join me in this EPIC DIY themed cake class, where you'll not only learn some great cake making skills, build confidence to up your caking game but will also have GREAT fun too!
This class will be split over the course of a weekend
To allow for best results .
- There will be a session on Friday evening to make the cake itself.
- Then a session on Saturday to ganache, carve, structure and cover the cake
- Then a session on Sunday for all the finer details.
The class will be run live and interactive within a private Facebook group, but as soon as the session is ended, the videos will then be uploaded here onto teachable for you to watch again and again, and even download and keep forever ( so it won't even matter if you cant make all the classes live)
What will you need for class?
Don't worry, there isn't a big, long, complicated list of expensive things, as soon you will be sent a list of material, equipment and ingredients that you need.
All of the equipment I'm sure you'll already have, such as a rolling pin, Dresden tool cake smoother etc.
What is covered in class?
All elements of the cake are gone through in easy to follow steps, and because the session are live, if you choose to take part at the time you can interact with Dawn and ask any questions that you may have too.
Even once the class is finished Dawn is still on hand, both on Facebook and here via Teachable to answer any questions.
- You will learn:
- How to make a " structured cake suitable for supporting its own weight, and being able to pick up up, just like a real drill.
- learn how to make a food safe structure that allows electronics to be put inside to make the drill bit spin.
- How to use modelling chocolate as a cake covering
- how to do all the finishing details to make it look really real.
